NTX Bare Brotherhood Disclaimer & Liability Waiver

By participating in any event, hike, or activity organized by the **Dallas Naturist Hiking & Backpacking Group** (the "Group"), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. **Voluntary Participation** – All activities are entered into voluntarily, and participation is at your own risk.
2. **Assumption of Risk** – You understand and accept the inherent risks of hiking, backpacking, and outdoor activities, including but not limited to:  
   - Uneven/difficult terrain, wildlife encounters, weather conditions, and other natural hazards.
   - Potential exposure due to nudity, including sunburn, insect bites, scratches, or other minor injuries.
   - The unlikely possibility of encountering non-participants who may not be aware of or comfortable with nudity. While our standard is to avoid all possible interaction with non-group members during and/or en-route to events, there is always a possibility of coming into contact with individuals that are not in the group. All group members are expected to cover up immediaely and be respectful of persons not participating. Should this event arise, please know that these individuals may not be tolerant or aware of our lifestyles, may be concerned for our and/or their safety and in-turn potentially engage in a less than friendly manner.
3. **Personal Responsibility** – You are solely responsible for your safety, well-being, and personal belongings. The Group does not assume liability for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred en-route to/from events or during activities.
4. **Health & Fitness** – You confirm that you are in good physical condition to participate in strenuous outdoor activities. If you have medical concerns, you consult a physician before joining. Know your own limits and wilderness preparedness skill-level prior to participating in some of the more strenuous events.
5. **Respect & Consent** – All members must adhere to a strict code of conduct:
   - No lewd acts, inappropriate behavior, harassment, or sharing photography without consent.
   - Respect for others’ boundaries and privacy at all times.
   - Adherance to all items listed in the "About Us" section of the NTX Bare Brotherhood website.
6. **Release of Liability** – By attending any Group event, you waive any claims against the Group, its organizers, and other participants for injuries, accidents, or other incidents that may occur.
7. **Legal Compliance** – Participants are Individually responsible for knowing and adhering to local, state, and federal laws. Each individual is solely responsible for their own actions, decisions, and conduct. By joining The Group and/or participating in any event, you acknowledge that The Group, its organizers, and other participants assume no liability for personal injury, loss, damage, or legal consequences resulting from your participation.

This disclaimer applies to all Group events, both official and informal. Your application submission and/or event participation signifies your acceptance of these terms.
